Konica Minolta imenovana službenim data partnerom za FIS Ski Jumping World Cup

Ugovor potpisan na 4 sezone počevši od 2012/2013

Langenhagen/Germany, November 14, 2012

Konica Minolta will support the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in the role of Official Data Partner. By partnering with FIS as one of the biggest international sports federations, Konica Minolta will be present at 31 Ski Jumping World Cup events in nine countries in Europe and Asia; including Norway, Finland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Austria, and Japan.

FIS and Konica Minolta have signed a contract for four years, which will help Konica Minolta to receive a strong media presence in a number of European countries from the autumn until the spring. With this engagement Konica Minolta is not only strengthening its brand presence overall, but is also setting up the image of Konica Minolta in European local organisations as a transnational company.

“We are happy to be part of a sport that enjoys a high level of technical sophistication. This engagement reflects Konica Minolta’s approach of delivering highly technical solutions. With the strong presence in Europe that comes with our sponsorship, we will not only build a bridge between sophisticated technical solutions and sports, but we will also strengthen the Konica Minolta brand coverage across Europe,” comments Olaf Lorenz, Head of International Marketing at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe.

“Konica Minolta is the first company to benefit from an attractive, newly designed sponsorship package for Ski Jumping as our Official Data Partner. As an internationally renowned brand, we greatly value their engagement”, says FIS President Gian Franco Kasper.

Ski Jumping belongs to the family of Nordic Skiing and has a high level of technical sophistication both from the physical perspective of the sport, as well its evaluation and communication through various media channels including television and digital media.

All individual results from the season’s competitions count towards the overall FIS World Cup ranking. The title of FIS World Cup winner is highly coveted by the athletes due to the high level of performance required during the entire season and for some, winning the World Cup is worth more than a gold medal at the FIS World Ski Championships or at the Olympic Winter Games.

Langenhagen/Germany, November, 2012

Konica Minolta takes part as platinum sponsor of one of the most important gatherings of CIOs and senior IT executives. Demonstrating the company’s current prospects and solutions with existing clients, Konica Minolta’s objective is to raise its profile as a service provider in the Managed Print Services and ITO market.

For the first time, Konica Minolta is presenting their know-how in Managed Print Services (MPS) at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo in Barcelona, from 5th to 8th November 2012. At an exhibition booth, successful concepts such as Konica Minolta´s MPS-approach Optimized Print Services (OPS) and the different opportunities available in embedding technology will be shown.

Bringing content closer to business by improving process productivity and compliance at manageable costs is the aim of Konica Minolta’s approach at Optimized Print Services (OPS). With a Global Engagement Program the company wants to establish OPS as a global standard.

As a service provider, IT integration for Konica Minolta means the addition of new components to increase effectiveness and speed up workflow, while keeping those components in place that already do the job the way it should be done. Thanks to a variety of hardware, software, and applications, as well as the possibility for individual development, the company is able to fulfil every need of each customer with their Integrated IT approach.

Focussing on document management the company presents a suite of solutions that are easy to use, simple to customise and quick to deploy: the ECM solutions.

At the Solution Provider Session on 7th November 2012, two of Konica Minolta’s clients will demonstrate how this works. In a presentation, Monica Mavilla, Director of Procurement at ES France, ADP, will share her experience of how to seize control of print infrastructure to drive 30% cost reductions. Furthermore, Dr. Margarete Schramböck, CEO of NextiraOne in Austria, will give an insight into the workspace of the future and will demonstrate that “IT must think Simplicity” to drive excellent process organization.

„With our engagement at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo in Barcelona, we want to underpin our strategic shift to a service provider in the MPS and ITO market,“ comments Olaf Lorenz, General Manager of International Marketing at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH. „For this we are happy to present our concepts for Optimized Print Services, along with two of our clients.“
